DS Spring — Stock & Purchase Order Management System

Client
DS Spring Ltd
Category
Software Development

DS Spring, a spring manufacturer sourcing from international suppliers, was running inventory on a legacy PHP system where on-screen stock no longer matched stock on the floor, and purchase orders printed for overseas vendors came out with text bleeding outside the layout — a complaint the client had lived with for years. Yugan Solutions rebuilt the core into a reliable, auditable stock and procurement platform. Admin and Manager users now work in role-separated areas covering the full material lifecycle: suppliers, product and size catalogues, factory stock, order raising, in-transit tracking, shipment receipt and daily consumption. A Need to Order screen compares live stock against safety-stock and monthly-usage thresholds so buying happens before a shortage, not after. At the centre is a proper multi-line Purchase Order module — one document with header-level terms (PO date, delivery and payment terms, currency, approver) and any number of line items beneath it. POs can be edited but never deleted, already-received lines are frozen, and every change is written to a full audit log. Outgoing POs render as a print-ready A4 sheet in the client's official layout, with correct Turkish and European characters, that prints cleanly from any browser.

Results & Outcomes

Eliminated stock-count drift by deriving in-transit quantities live from open orders instead of cached columns so displayed totals can never diverge from actual stock Permanently fixed the years-old document bleed and blank-page problem by replacing the failing PDF engine with a print-ready A4 purchase-order sheet Introduced a complete procurement audit trail logging every PO create and edit with old→new values and proper user tracking Secured the application with bcrypt password hashing and server-side role guards on every page and action replacing plaintext credentials and client-side-only access control

How a project like DS Spring — Stock & Purchase Order Management System comes together

Every engagement at Yugan Solutions runs through the same four stages, and this software development project was no exception. We start with discovery — understanding the business problem, the people who will actually use the thing, and the numbers that will decide whether it worked. Only then do we draw wireframes, agree the visual direction, and move into development on a staging link the client can open on any day of the week.

Engineering is deliberately unglamorous: well-supported frameworks, readable code, version control, and performance and accessibility checks running as we build rather than bolted on at the end. Pages are server-rendered so search engines can read them, images are compressed and lazy-loaded, and the build is measured against Google's Core Web Vitals before it is allowed near a production domain.

Launch is a checklist, not a moment: analytics and Google Search Console connected, an XML sitemap submitted, structured data validated, backups scheduled, and a handover document written in plain English. After that, most clients stay with us for maintenance, SEO and growth work, or the next phase of features.

If this is close to what you need, the fastest route is a short call. Browse the rest of our portfolio of websites, software and mobile builds, look through everything we offer, or just tell us what you are planning and we will come back within one working day with an honest scope and a real number.

Let's build something just as impressive.
